What is Iris Medi-Call?
IRIS Medi-Call is a Registered Nursing service that provides expert nursing care to people of all ages, in their homes or work place, seven days a week, across the Auckland region.
We specialise in complex management of wound care and other services such as catheter care, administration of intravenous medication and treatment of injury or trauma.
Accessing the service
IRIS Medi-Call requires a referral from a General Practitioner, hospital or specialist such as an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
How we work
When a referral is received, a Medi-Call Registered Nurses contacts the person to arrange a suitable time and place to visit and start the treatment. IRIS Medi-Call operates seven days a week and can visit people in their homes, workplace or in the community. We offer a timely, efficient and supportive service that can be relied upon.
We work in partnership with medical practitioners and practice nurses to deliver the best quality care and achieve the best outcomes.
