What is IRIS Support?
Supporting people with a disability, health concern or injury, IRIS Support offers a wide and flexible range of personalised services to people and families in their own homes and community.

Whether it’s around the home or being out and about in the community, IRIS Support is there to assist people to live a regular life.

Who we serve
We work with people of all ages and cultures, from infancy through to old age, who are living with a physical or intellectual disability, a health concern or an injury.

Accessing the service
People are referred to IRIS Support either through a Needs Assessment Service Coordination (NASC) agency, or ACC (for an injury).

How we work
Our person centred approach means that we like to understand as much as possible about the person and their goals, and for the person to have as much autonomy and control in how they live their lives.   Working alongside people to determine their needs and goals, what is most important to them and how we can make the greatest difference.   Our “can-do” attitude means we are flexible, willing and able to find a way to provide the support people require and to help achieve their goals.

Our services include (but is not limited to):

  • Personal care
  • Providing support around the home
  • Participating in community activities or events

Our team
Our Team (consisting of support workers, resource coordinators and service co-ordinators), offers personalised services that make a real difference to peoples lives.

They are:

  • Professional, friendly, reliable and committed to providing the best service
  • Trained and experienced to deliver a diverse range of support services
  • Flexible, have a can-do attidude and think outside the square
