Focus 2000 is a health and disability service provider established in 1996. We provide a diverse range of services for people with a disability or injury, from early childhood through to old age.

Personal Outcomes
Focus 2000 is using the Personal Outcomes approach to defining service quality. Personal outcomes are important because they put listening to and learning from the person at the centre of organisational life, and provide a guide to person directed planning.


We provide the following services:

Community Living
provides housing and support in the community for people with ongoing physical and/or intellectual disability support needs, aged 16 and over. [ visit ]

Conductive Education
an early childhood education centre providing a conductive education programme to children affected by cerebral palsy and other motor disorders, and with developmental delay. Conductive Education assists parents to help their children be like other kids ... [ visit ]

Home and Community Support
supports people with a physical, intellectual and/or sensory disability, or injury, to live in their own home and communities with the optimum personal quality of life. [ visit ]

Medi-Call
a seven day community nursing service providing ongoing management and treatment of injury or trauma, including wound care. Also offering social rehabilitation assessment and Footcare treatment.

Rehabilitation
promotes independence by supporting people affected by disability or injury to fulfil their potential and enhance their quality of life. Services are designed to meet the needs of the whole person (social, physical, mental and spiritual). [ visit ]

Training
provides the in house core staff training and development programme. Actively assisting the support workforce to complete NZQA national qualifications training, this now includes literacy support. [ visit ]
