Focus 2000 Home and Community Support Services assist people with a physical, intellectual or sensory disability to remain in their own home or other private accommodation with maximum independence and optimum quality of life. This support is provided 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Our support workers assist with Personal Care and Home Care. The service we deliver is developed in consultation with the client. It is our role to work with clients in partnership to achieve daily needs. Our approach enables clients to stay within their community and be near family and friends. Clients can be assured our service will be delivered in a manner that respects the dignity, rights, needs, abilities and cultural values of themselves, their family and whanau. Our professional and competent team of staff are trained to assist with daily requirements. This is include getting a client out of bed, showering, dressing, and personal cares. Our staff skilled in household management tasks, will do household cleaning duties as well as provide assistance with meal planning, shopping and meal preparation.
