The rehabilitation department aim is to promote independence and support people to fulfill their potential and enhance their quality of life. The service takes a whole of person (social, physical, mental and spiritual) approach and serves people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, or injury.
- Creative Therapy involves a range of disciplines that use creative (drama, music, art) expression to meet the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of people.
- Mobility Rehabilitation assists people to regain or maintain their independence through a range of physical programmes and interventions that increase mobility and functional capacity.
- Person Centred Planning seeks to identify and provide services based on people's aspirations and dreams. Person directed planning is holistic, considers all aspects of the person's life and understands that achieving personal goals occurs in a social and community context.
- Social Rehabilitation assists people to develop social skills and to create and maintain connections with people and resources in their communities.
